Hello Everyone,
A friend and I have signed up for the Age group training day, November 30th. I found it very helpful and informative last year. Barrie Shepley and his crew are currently working with some of the best Tri/Ironman athletes from Canada. Here's is link:

I believe Vy is signed up for coaching day. If you signed up, let me know and will try co-ordinating ride to Hamilton.

I think I might be in on this one. Do you know if I have to bring in my own bike for the session? It says in class seminar + training and I am not sure what that means.

Sorry I was late getting back to you. You have options to choose from. One of the options is to bring your own bike and windtrainer. It's too much work to bring it to Hamilton with me.
I would definitely choose the swim portion. They get the McMaster swim team to have a one to one session with you while you work on the drill given by the instructor. It was very helpful in getting ideas on how to correct my stroke.
The other two sessions you can choose off the list. My friend is taking the running portion. Found it was helpful in talking about track workouts and learning to pace yourself at different speeds. I took yoga last year. Some tough poses and ideas for stretching.
It was a very good value for the level of coaching and found it got me motivated to keep training hard through the winter. If you decide to go, let Vy know or email me. She and I will be heading up on Saturday to carpool
